God is not afraid to make you wait…

One verse I’ve learned by experience:

Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him. Isaiah 30:18

Are you waiting for God to answer? Don’t be surprised if He makes you wait. He’s not being silent without reason. He’s not withholding an answer without purpose. God is working His plan. He’s never late and never early.

Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! Psalm 27:14

But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Are you currently waiting for God to move? Can I (and my readers) pray with you in that situation?

Yes I would appreciate the prayer support for what God wants to do, is doing now, and what is purposed to take place in the future. I was called to the ministry several years ago ran and here I am. God has been very gracious to me. He gave me a scripyure the other night. Job 13: 27. I know He has a purpose for me to wait.
As I said I would appreciate the prayer support.
Thank you and God bless ! !

Yes, and thank you for this post. My wife and I both are seeking God's direction regarding potential new job opportunities for each of us. Neither of us are very patient and of course expect God to answer us quickly. 🙂

There have been seasons of my life I've repeated Ps 27:14 over and over in my head all day long. We're in another season like that right now and would appreciate your prayers.

I needed this tonight. My husband is in nursing school and didn't make the grade he needed to in one of his classes. We just found out tonight. He finds out his options tomorrow. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

God made us wait. I didn't like it at the time but I'm so glad He did.

There's a neat God story that I won't take the time to retell, but thanks to all the waiting we became parents of two wonderful little children (a boy and a girl). They are perfect for us and I can't imagine what it would be like if I hadn't been their mom.

What if God had answered all those other prayers when I wanted them to be answered?

I can tell you that my faith would not have been tested in the fire, I would not be the person I am today and I would have missed out.

All of you who are waiting to become parents, especially you women waiting right now and it is almost the worst holiday of the year if you are in that place- believe me, God will show up. He has plans for YOU. Until that day, He hears every prayer and is moved by every tear.

I love my kids but I can say that a woman's highest calling is not being a mother. It is serving Her Lord with all of her heart. This Sunday, remember that.

    God remembers you.
