Saturday Night Prayer Chain 2, Let’s Pray for One Another

By October 22, 2011Encouragement, Prayer

It’s been a couple months since we did a Saturday night prayer chain. Is your life still in need of prayer?

How can we pray for you?

This is simple. You leave a comment on this post, my faithful prayer warrior readers read it, and we pray. You can join the praying as well as the listing of requests too. Let’s pray for one another.

This time I’m praying:

  • For God to reveal Himself to people tonight…and tomorrow.
  • For our churches to be packed this weekend.
  • For a man to come to his senses and return to his family.
  • For a teenage girl who needs to make the right choices going forward.
  • For a couple people I know looking for work.
  • For several people battling cancer.
  • For a single parent who is lonely.
  • For a church that’s launching tomorrow.

What are you praying for?

How can we pray for you?

Go!

And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Luke 11:9

Please pray for my wife and I to be reunited again. After 15 years she said it’s over between us and she wants a change. I love her so much and I pray that God will transform me into the man she needs and wants. Please pray for us!

      Andre,
Hello. I am praying for you to be reunited with your wife. Please pray I reunite with mine. We are separated, through my fault, and I love and miss her and my two sons dearly. Thank you and God bless you.

  • Pastor Bri says:

Thank you for doing this, Ron.

Please pray for our five-year old daughter, Kara, who was just diagnosed with a Spinocerebellar Ataxia. In short, her cerebullum is shrinking. There is no cure and condition is degenerative. She was just diagnosed and is undergoing additional tests. At this point, we do not have a clear diagnosis. From what we have heard and read, the prognosis (depending on the rate of degeneration) for this condition range from bad to worse.

Praying that we can live in the present … praying for increased faith … praying for a miraculous healing.

I am so sorry. There aren't good words to help in times like this, but prayers are with you. I think you're asking for the right things. God is good and you can trust Him regardless of the diagnosis.

  • I am Praying for my Pastor & his Family, His Wife Passed away this morning after battling Hep C & other related complications. Comfort, Strength, & Peace for our Entire congregation during Service tomorrow. Its going to be a very emotional one.

  • Please pray for my heart to continue to lead God's people in worship. My boss/Sr. Pastor has given me until the end of the year to find another job. There's a lot of water under the bridge, but I have a heart for these people & don't want to get deterred from giving God my all with them in worship. I DO NOT want to be a distraction from God's hand tomorrow morning.

That's tough and hard to continue. Praying for you tomorrow and for God to move quickly to find your next place of service.

I found out today that my mom's brother has terminal cancer. It was just diagnosed. He was given 4-6 weeks to live. He is the oldest of the siblings and walked my mom & her 2 sisters down the aisle for their weddings. Next weekend my mom, my sister & I are heading up to see him & his wife.

For my middle and high school students to grab ahold of the truth of Christ, and to actually follow Him. Also, for my pastor as he teaches at our three service. Come, Spirit, come

    • ronedmondson says:

Thanks Wayne. What a great prayer for a youth pastor. Thanks for praying for your students and your pastor!

  • Tomorrow morning (Sunday) is my first day of leading worship at my new church. We're thankful for this. Not only asking that Jesus would be seen through me leading, but that God would grant us wisdom to know more specifically what He has for us to do here beyond the role of worship leading in ministry. We know He has called us to this place. Discovering a lot of back story, and seeing the great need for freedom in Christ in people's lives.

Please pray that my wife, Lorraine, and I reconcile and are reunited. We are separated, through my fault, and I have confessed my sins, begged and prayed for forgiveness and sought reconciliation. I am truly repentant and determined to make amends and I love her deeply. I pray she will forgive me and welcome me home to live with her and our two young sons so I can be the husband, father and man of the house my wife and children want, need and deserve. Thank you and God bless you.

I am praying for God to speak through me and through our lay speaker tomorrow.
    For several persons battling cancer.
    For couples dealing with infertility.
For couples dealing with infidelity and the children affected.
For my daughter to find the courage to launch out again into the world.
For a teen who has lost her dad in an auto accident and is recovering from injuries from the same accident.
For safe travel and renewal for a colleague on vacation.

Please pray for me to gain physical strength while recovering from a very serious sinus infection.
Pray that God will speak through me tomorrow as I proclaim God's "good news."
Pray that I will be wise in discerning the next steps God would want me to take.

It's been quite the struggle since my husband has passed. I have been struggling with feeling deserted by people who said they are here for me but have been nowhere to find when I need them the most. My church family is my only family here in Clarksville and I've been hurt by many of those people. I also have a lot of fear about my capability of doing this thing called life by myself.
