Two books that have encouraged my spiritual life in the last few months are the books Prodigal God, by Tim Keller and The Magnificent Obsession by Anne Graham Lotz. I’m giving away two books today. If you are chosen, you can choose which one. Here’s a description of each:
The Magnificent Obsession: Embracing the God-Filled Life: Anne Graham Lotz writes as if she’s reading the book to you. You feel a personal connection to the author with her books. This book, looking at the story of Abraham, helping the reader learn how to develop an intimacy with God as Abraham experienced. If you are not experiencing all the joy you feel life should bring, this may be your book.
The Prodigal God: Recovering the Heart of the Christian Faith,: Timothy Keller tells the other side of the familiar prodigal son story. Keller’s insight and examination of this story from the perspective of the older brother was a sobering look into my own heart. I felt more passionate about my calling after reading this book.
