I feel like that looks like the ministry part of my life that shows right now, a wreck of what used to be, not really useful for anything. However, behind the broken wall my relationship with the Lord is getting repaired. It is better than it ever was before. No one can see it, but it is the most important part. I can't see that the ministry part will ever come back or be a satisfying part of my life ever again, but the Lord is very real. I have what matters.

Amen brother! I shared with you in a marriage blog what a mess I've made of my marriage and of my relationship with God. Since that posting, He has reached down and pulled me up and I am in such a better relationship than I have probably ever been with Him. I continue to work daily and diligently on my marriage and I have at least a sliver of hope that things will work out with my wife. God is creating a much better story from the rubble that was my life. I know that He will always be there and hope that my wife will as well.
