My children are very young but I have made it a point to tell them before hand where we are going and what we are doing...sometimes they like it and sometimes they don't... but this seems to help with anxiousness and nervousness. I also never leave while their back is turned by distraction. I want them to see me leave and see me return and not feel like if they turn around mommy may disappear. This has helped develop a trust even at a young age. These were great and very helpful!
