Fox Decides Not To Carry Presidential Press Conference
Fox Broadcasting has decided not to carry President Obama’s news conference Wednesday night. Read the story HERE. This is an extremely rare occurrence. I will admit he seems to do a lot of them and there are plenty of other channels to catch it live, but I’m curious about the real reasons behind this move. Did he stiff someone on an interview? Just curious. I would think they would have a hard time getting an interview now for sure!
What do you think? Should a national news station carry every president’s news conference?

Actually if you read the linked article it’s Fox Broadcasting, not Fox news that decided not to carry the news conference.
Well – I’m watching Obama giving his speech on Foxnews right now – so apparently they changed their mind.
It’s a sound business decision. Unfortunately networks can’t (or don’t) interrupt presidential speeches for commercials. The president, in effect, gets free air time. Obama in his first 100 days has had more free press than any other president. I support Fox’s decision. Their programming is good and whether or not this is a political decision it is their right to do it.
Ahhh. I was going to comment……if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all
