We're going even further here in Odessa, TX, at Grace Point by actually transforming our Easter Celebration into an outdoor service featuring an Egg Dash (we don't have the geography to hide eggs) and a 45-minute outdoor "Celebration of Hope."

That's right, our Easter Sunday Service will include an Egg Dash (prizes too) and a 30-minute shorter time of celebration.

Our hope is to really capture the out-of-church by creating something that they are interested in (Eggs & Prizes) and exposing them to a sampling of our regular celebration.

I really had to wrestle with the implications of incorporating this "pagan" practice on the day we celebrate the most significant aspect of Christ. Yet, as we see in the scripture from Paul, we must adapt to reach. The Mars Hill message incorporated "pagan" thought, yet he redeemed it. My hope is that through our Celebration of Hope, we are able to see many redeemed!
