I've been a member of both "types" of churches. A church that isn't willing to break outside the walls as well as disciplines and reprimands instead of loves stifles the congregation and does not teach the love of Christ that I know. Personally, I've grown much more in my personal walk with the Lord in a church that loves people thru life, and has "church" more for the lost than its' members. I appreciate both of my pastors willing to be there 24/7 for people - whether members or not. I appreciate both of my pastors and the staff willing to think outside the box and do whatever they can to reach those INSIDE and OUTSIDE the church walls.
